County Armagh care home receives £450,000 funding injection

County Armagh care home receives £450,000 funding injection

A care home near Dungannon in Northern Ireland has received significant investment to upgrade and expand its facilities with the support of Ulster Bank. 

As part of the refurbishment Collegelands Private Nursing Home, Lislasly Road, Aghinlig, 10 new rooms are being addded and the existing rooms and living spaces are being upgraded.

The investment, from Ulster Bank, totals more than £450,000.

 The newly updated home, will provide 30 single rooms, meeting increasing demand for space at the facility.

Ulster Bank Relationship Manager, Leona McNicholl, says: “The owners of Collegelands took the decision to invest in their business to meet client demand and to position the facility well for future trends in the residential care sector. At Ulster Bank, we are very pleased to help with the investment, which is one of a significant number of investments in the wider healthcare sector that we are supporting. 

“With Northern Ireland’s aging popular, providers like Collegelands have an extremely important role to play in our society. Healthcare is a fast-growing sector of the economy and it is an important sector for Ulster Bank,” she adds.
