A charity, a university and a financial services firm have joined forces to set a new Guinness World Records title for the ‘largest human image of a brain’ as part of a tribute to those facing Alzheimer's.

The feat was accomplished when 1,202 people gathered in centerfield at Busch Stadium (Home of the St. Louis Cardinals) to form a multi-coloured brain image.

Organised by the Alzheimer’s Association, Washington University and financial services firm Edward Jones, the attempt was completed by participants who wore coloured ponchos to represent the individual lobes in the brain.

Edward Jones has been a strategic partner for the Alzheimer’s Association's since 2016, and serves as a sponsor for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Edward Jones was able to surpass its 2017 fundraising goal for the association, raising more than $2.3 million.
