Sidcup-based care centre, Baugh House Care Centre, is inviting local people to join them this Christmas to commemorate a loved one on their memory tree.

Throughout December, the centre, which is part of the Gold Care Homes group, will be opening its doors so that people can come to write a message to family members who are no longer with them on specially-designed candle decorations that will be put up on a Christmas tree in its grounds.

During their visit to the home in Baugh Road, guests will also be able to have a tour of the property and meets its staff, as well as donate a toy to the Gold Care Homes Christmas Charity Appeal.

Then on, 13th December 2017, Baugh House Care Centre will be holding a special ceremony from 2pm, where guests can come and enjoy mince pies, drinks and entertainment from the carol choir at The Hope Community School.

Sharon Disley, Care Manager at Baugh House Care Centre, said: “Christmas is a time for coming together with family and celebrating, but often people may be thinking of those who have passed on or who aren’t around this year for the festivities.

“Our Christmas tree hopes to allow people to remember a loved one at this time in a very special way, whilst also doing something for charity if they choose. We would be delighted to welcome local people to leave a message and to join us at our home’s special celebration on 13 December.”
