Carers from across the UK are being invited to take part in the #GladtoCare competition for the chance to win a fabulous holiday with Haven. The photo competition is being run by Person Centred Software with The Care Workers Charity.
To enter, carers are invited to request a tote bag (free of charge) and to take a photo of themselves with the tote bag doing something that makes them ‘glad to care’ (no need to include a resident) and say in two sentences or less why it makes them proud to be a carer.
Entries can be posted online with the hashtag #GladtoCare or emailed to gladtocare@personcentredsoftware.com. The competition closes at midnight on 10th December 2018.
The esteemed panel of judges including David Brindle, the Guardian's Public Services Editor, Vic Rayner, Executive Director of NCF, and Professor Martin Green, Chief Executive of Care England, will select the winning picture.
Founded in 2009, The Care Workers Charity helps current, former and retired care workers by providing support to those who find themselves in hardship. This competition is designed to raise the morale of carers, who work extremely hard with very little recognition. It will show how much they are appreciated and reward one with a holiday!
Person Centred Software is working with The Care Workers Charity to help promote the competition. The rules, together with the general competition terms and conditions, are available at: www.personcentredsoftware.com/gladtocarecompetitionrules
