Greyland has been joined by two highly respected sales people, with a huge amount of industry experience between them.
Samantha (Sam) Farr and Phil Wallen have been taken on by the company in order to cope with the massive demand for cleaning chemicals, which the global pandemic has brought about.
Sam Farr entered the industry 25 years ago, and has sales and managerial experience in contract cleaning, distribution, and cleaning chemical manufacturing. At Greyland, she will be looking after Distributors in many UK regions.
Phil Wallen is a well-known face in the industry, as a National Accounts Manager with almost 40 years’ experience in cleaning chemicals and machine sales. He has taken a new Business Development role at Greyland.
Both are very much looking forward to renewing their relationships with customers up and down the country following months of lockdown.
Sam said: “We see this as a golden opportunity to advise and guide the industry in these days of heightened awareness of cleaning and hygiene, and in particular the products that can make a real difference, such as Greyland’s Spray & Wipe Ultra, a full virucidal disinfectant cleaner tested to eliminate both Coronavirus and MRSA after one minute; and also Greyland’s new Maximum Eco Range, containing fully professional recycled material in its all-UK sourced packaging. Far from adopting a kind of wartime bunker mentality in these difficult times, we cannot wait to get back out there.”
Phil added: “While many types of businesses have struggled with lockdown, there are major FM accounts whose diversity of customer base has ensured continuance of their business model. Video conferencing is well enough between work colleagues within an organisation, but in sales, it’s a truism that ‘people buy from people’, so the intention is to safely re-engage with customers without further delay.”
Greyland CEO, Richard Dyson, commented: “With all the abilities the new expanded Greyland sales team has in knowledge, experience, and professionalism, at both distributor and major level end users, I strongly believe that Greyland is now poised to advance to the next stage in its development.”
