CAROLINE DINENAGE TO SPEAK AT FUTURE OF CARE CONFERENCE

Future of Care Conference

The Minister of State for Care, Caroline Dinenage MP, will deliver the keynote speech at the Future of Care Conference.

The Minister will join a roster of leading experts and high-profile care industry leaders. Specifically tailored for care professionals, the conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Leeds City, on 15th October 2019, and will host a thought-provoking seminar programme with an outstanding line-up of speakers.

Her speech is expected to delve into the latest in Government priorities for the future of adult care, including the potential impact of leadership changes. Dinenage retained her position as Minister of State for Care after the recent cabinet reshuffle and can now continue her work within the care industry. The Minister will also be taking part in a Q&A session with delegates after her speech.

Caroline Dinenage MP said: "It is a privilege to be re-appointed as Minister of State for Care. Good quality care can transform people's lives and we need to continue to improve people's access and experiences. I look forward to productive discussions at the Future of Care Conference about building a sustainable social care system."

Across the one-day event, leading industry experts will provide informative talks based on their knowledge and experience, discussing key trends and current challenges within the sector. Delegates will hear from thought leaders who are at the forefront of shaping the industry including Kathryn Smith from Alzheimer’s Society, Lucy Harmer from Independent Age, Anita Charlesworth from The Health Foundation, and many more.

ITV News Presenter Sameena Ali-Khan has been confirmed to chair the conference.

There will also be two dedicated panel sessions providing the chance for the audience to ask questions on the issues that most affect them, to ensure a social care system fit for the future.
