Published on 27/09/2014
A family-run home care company in Somerset and Wiltshire has scooped three award nominations for the 2014 Care Awards, hosted by Care Focus.
Lifeline Homecare is a ten-year-old business providing personal care support to people across Somerset and Wiltshire.
The company has been shortlisted for Care Organisation of the Year, with two members of staff shortlisted for further awards; Elizabeth Joyce for Outstanding Care or Support Worker and Shelley Lawless for the Quality Dementia Award.
Emma Gifford-Pike, Managing Director of Lifeline Care (pictured with manager Peggy Gifford-Pike), said: “We are really proud of our team; this is the third year running that they have been nominated."
Care Focus aims to provide excellence in the care sector by offering advice and guidance on a range of subjects including legislation, regulation, planning and development and recruitment.
Claire Waddon, CEO of Care Focus (South West) CIC added: "We have had representation from all over Somerset and each and every one of the finalists are truly wonderful people. The heart-warming stories of how the high levels of care support and compassion they offer make such a difference to other peoples’ lives are humbling."
Lifeline Homecare will find out if it has won the respective awards next month (October). The company’s services cover South West England, for people of all ages and levels of care needs in the home.
