NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM AT WORSLEY CARE HOME

Tina Blake and Chris Critchley have been appointed registered manager and deputy manager respectively at New Care’s Bridgewater Manor on Walkden Road in Worsley.

Using their many combined years of experience, the duo will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the care home, working together to deliver a high standard of person-centred care for residents.

Tina is focused on the smooth operation of the home. She is also responsible for all areas of compliance for CQC, the local authority and CCG. Most importantly, she is committed to delivering an outstanding service to residents at Bridgewater Manor.

Supporting Tina is Chris, who is responsible for the management of the clinical team and the timely provision of care by ensuring effective supervision, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Chris is a registered nurse, whilst Tina was a registered nurse for 25 years, and both have worked in health and social care for many years. The pair also boast extensive additional professional qualifications including a Diploma in Health and Social Care, CMS in Management, Mentorship in Clinical Practice and Degree (Level 6) in Management and Leadership.

Commenting on her appointment, Tina said: “I was brought up in Worsley and have always aspired to work in my local community. I contacted New Care on the off chance that they had a position and was thrilled when they confirmed that they did. The company is amazing; they support and truly care about the staff at all levels, and I am honoured to be part of the team.”

Chris added: “I was attracted to New Care as the company provides an excellent induction programme to all new staff members, as well as great rewards and benefits. Bridgewater Manor is a purpose-built care facility that meets the needs of residents, which makes a huge difference.”

Commissioning director at New Care, Dawn Collett, concludes: “I am delighted to welcome Tina and Chris to Bridgewater Manor and am confident that they will work together to further develop the care home.”
