New Care has appointed two new care home managers in Nottingham; Tracy Johnston at The Grand in West Bridgford and Laura Lambert at Ruddington Manor in Wilford.
Tracy has worked in the healthcare sector since she was 16 years old, starting off as a carer before qualifying as a nurse. She has worked for the NHS and privately, and with many years of managerial experience, as deputy manager, home manager and regional director, Tracy is perfectly placed to lead the team at The Grand.
Previously the registered home manager at Ruddington Manor, Tracy said: “New Care is an excellent company to work for and I am delighted to have joined the team at The Grand. I am committed to ensuring each and every resident receives exceptional care and will continue to uphold the superb standards of this well-established Nottingham care facility.”
Laura was previously the clinical lead at Ruddington Manor, supporting the management team, and quickly progressed to deputy manager, so was the natural choice for the registered home manager role when it became available.
With 14 years’ experience working in care homes, passionate about providing the very best care for the elderly, Laura is tasked with maintaining the excellent standards of care at Ruddington Manor, ensuring residents receive individual, person-centred care coupled with a choice of activities and opportunities to remain as independent for as long as possible.
Laura will also support her team, ensuring they are confident, competent and happy in their roles, ultimately enriching the lives of the residents.
Laura said: “I really enjoy working for New Care and have grown quite a lot since joining the company. The senior management team is extremely supportive and has played a big part in allowing me to develop my career and progress within the company. I’m thrilled to have been appointed registered home manager.”
