WIGSTON CARE HOME COLLEAGUE BRAVES THE SHAVE FOR CHARITY

A brave care home employee has had her hair shaved to raise money for charity, in honour of her late father.

Tracy Murray, a member of the housekeeping team at HC One’s Cedar Court care home, volunteered to complete the ‘Brave the Shave’ campaign in memory of her father, who sadly passed away at Cedar Court earlier this year.

Tracy is attempting to raise as much money as possible for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity, and she stated she just wants to give back to all the professionals who cared for her father.

Tracy said: “I want to honour my father, and this is the only way I feel I can do this. Please help me raise money for an amazing charity whose support we cannot repay.”

So far, Tracy has raised a fantastic £1,700. Any donation made to her page would be greatly appreciated and going to a fantastic cause.
