CARERS CELEBRATED AT BLUEBIRD CARE BRISTOL’S ANNUAL AWARDS

Nina Klein - Most Kind & Caring Award

Bluebird Care Bristol has announced the winners of their annual Carers Awards to recognise the outstanding efforts demonstrated by their Care Assistants over the last 12 months. 

Categories for the awards were Over and Above, ‘Most Kind and Caring, Overall Outstanding Carer of the Year 2021 and the most Happy, Cheery and Smiley. The winners were decided by vote from the home care provider’s team members who provide care services directly in their customers’ homes. 

The Newcomer of the Year Award recognises a new employee who has shown the most potential and promise in their career over the last 12 months. The Overall Outstanding Care of the Year award is the most prestigious and is awarded to the individual who best strives to provide the highest quality of care. 

Winners of the awards at Bluebird Care Bristol were:

• Michaela Bela - Overall Outstanding Carer of the Year

• Sydney Watts - Happy, Cheerful & Smiley Award

• Nina Klein - Most Kind & Caring Award

• Christine Thomas - Over & Above Award

The winners each received a trophy with their name and the category engraved on them, whilst the winner of the Outstanding Carer of the Year Award is engraved onto a larger trophy kept within the office.

Michaela Bela, winner of the Overall Outstanding Carer of the Year Award, said: “It's an honour to be awarded overall winner, thank you! We are the dream team. I think so highly of you all, and I am very happy to be a part of the team."

Tim Rowland-Jones, Director of Bluebird Care Bristol, said: ‘’It has been a challenging 12 months for many of our Care Assistants and there have been many fantastic achievements which we are delighted to recognise and celebrate. 

“Our care staff have worked so hard and shown so much dedication to their customers that they look after with such compassion and empathy. Well done to you all - we are so proud of you."
