BELONG MORRIS FEINMANN APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER

Carolyn Ball has been appointed General Manager of Belong Morris Feinmann, Didsbury, Manchester.

Carolyn Ball has been appointed General Manager of Belong Morris Feinmann, Didsbury, Manchester; a care village providing 24-hour nursing and dementia care through specialist households and independent living apartments.

An experienced leader, Carolyn brings with her six years' Belong management expertise, including the last two years as Front of House Manager at the Didsbury care village, since its opening in 2017.

Notably, she was influential in the set-up of both Belong Morris Feinmann and Belong Warrington, including recruitment and subsequent training and mentoring of colleagues, drawing on her HR and administration knowledge which she has developed since joining Belong Macclesfield, back in 2008.

As a result, Carolyn has acquired strong expertise in dementia care provision and, having worked at numerous Belong sites, has built close relationships with customers and colleagues across the north west, enabling her to bring a wealth of competence to the general manager role.

Carolyn commented: “I’m thrilled to be leading the team at Belong Morris Feinmann. My goal is to lead by example and ensure our village continues to provide exceptional care for our customers, while building on the happy, positive and vibrant community we are known for.

“Working your way up really gives you a solid understanding of how the business operates. My career with Belong is testament to the organisation as an employer and the unique village model we have is incredible. It just works.”

Lorraine Johns replaces Carolyn as Front of House Manager, heading up reception, housekeeping and caretaker teams at the Didsbury care village.

Tracy Paine, Deputy Chief Executive at Belong, commented: “We are delighted to have Carolyn taking over as general manager at Morris Feinmann. Her commitment and determination to grow her Belong career over the past twelve years has created another ‘homegrown’ leader. We’re very proud of Carolyn, her achievement is well-deserved, and we look forward to her building on the success of our Didsbury care village.”
